Payment Policy

Effective Date: September 2, 2025

This Payment Policy outlines the terms and conditions related to advance payments, commission deductions, disbursements, and financial practices for bookings made through ArtizenLive, a professional event booking platform. All financial transactions comply with Indian financial regulations, including applicable GST laws.

1. Advance Payment Requirement

To confirm a booking through ArtizenLive, clients are required to make an advance payment to secure the artist's availability.

ArtizenLive will transfer the applicable portion of the advance payment to the artist within 48 hours prior to the scheduled event date.

The percentage of advance payment required depends on the total booking amount, as detailed below:

₹2,00,001 – ₹5,00,000 6.99%
₹5,00,001 – ₹10,00,000 5.49%
₹10,00,001 – ₹30,00,000 4.99%
Above ₹30,00,000 4.59%

The remaining balance is to be paid directly by the client to the artist prior to the performance. The artist will communicate the preferred payment method after a successful booking.

4. Invoicing & Taxes

  • ArtizenLive will issue tax-compliant invoices detailing the total booking value, advance received and applicable GST.
  • ArtizenLive is registered under GST in West Bengal and complies with all statutory tax regulations.
  • GST-registered artists must issue a separate invoice for their portion of the payment, if applicable.

5. Dispute Resolution

Any payment-related disputes will be handled as follows:

  • Initial resolution will be attempted internally within 15 business working days.
  • If unresolved, the dispute will be subject to the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of West Bengal (e.g., Kolkata).
